Emer Mc Donagh (Current Student)

I had the opportunity to have my third-year placement with the Coeliac Society of Ireland . I had a very positive and insightful experience on placement. The mix of learning and self-development has given me an excellent grounding for both future employment and further study. I received

training on communication skills, IT skills, networking skills and marketing skills. My placement was very varied as I was working both in a clinical setting and in community populations. The experience has also given me a fantastic opportunity to see how the skills and knowledge I have acquired in college can be applied in the workplace.

Note: Students enrolling on to the first year of the Public Health Nutrition course will be eligible to transfer into the Sport and Exercise Science course upon successful completion of the first year if places are available.
