The Whitaker Institute for Innovation and Societal Change and the Institute for Lifecourse and Society (ILAS) (pictured below), home to the applied social sciences and public policy research theme, are committed to building a foundation of knowledge to drive innovation and the understanding of social entrepreneurial strategies through their research areas and programmes: economic innovation, social change, social inclusion and balanced development and health.
