GMIT Prospectus 2021/22

DESIGN YOUR FUTURE

“How?” is an easy question to answer, and invariably it is answered within the first year of each of our courses; how to design, animate, paint, sculpt , film, edit, teach etc. “Why?” can start a journey of questioning that can last a lifetime. This journey of self-discovery will be challenging as you move from the generic to the personal, from surface-strength to finding strength through your personal and intimate creativity. However, in CCAM, you are not alone in your quest; students in CCAM are supported throughout by staff, lecturers and technicians every step of your journey. Creativity in CCAM is a shared experience. The lecturing staff foster learning environments that are safe spaces to learn, share, critique and grow.

CCAM offers undergraduate studies in Contemporary Art, Design, Gaming, Animation and Film & Documentary. Our lecturing staff have a wealth of Industry experience. The reward of learning your craft, and mastering your profession, is that you will find your voice, and be able to use it to express your creativity with confidence. We hope you will take the time to study this brochure, and the colourful intricacies of what our courses offer. And when you ask yourself, “Why CCAM?”, we trust the answer will come easy. We hope to see you in September.
