The Energy Engineering degree is accredited by Engineers Ireland at Associate Engineer level. Our graduates have a 100% employment record. Student experience

Mark Gillan Manager, Office Project Management, Engineering & Technology, Allergan. On Completion of the Energy Engineering programme in 2012, I got a job in Allergan Pharmaceuticals as a Process Engineer on an exciting Biologics Facility. My employers saw the range of modules I had learned and saw it as an asset to an ever-expanding industry. I’m now working as a Project Portfolio Manager and also lead the site Energy Team.

I really enjoyed my time in GMIT, I made some great friends and the support received from lecturers and students was fantastic. The programme has given me a good foundation to build my professional career. Studying Energy Engineering at GMIT gave me the fundamental skill sets of an Energy/Mechanical engineer and the competency to work on projects and solve problems.
