Follow-on Studies Level 7 graduates may progress to the final year of the Bachelor of Business (Honours) in Event Management and public relations. GMIT honours (Level 8) qualifications are recognised worldwide for postgraduate entry.

I enjoyed thoroughly. In Year 2, we progressed adding new modules and enhancing our practical skills and knowledge. Year 3 then started in the summer for our 30-week work placement. I undertook my placement in Dublin, as I felt that is where most of the opportunities are in the Events Industry. I thoroughly enjoyed it and had some exciting opportunities such as being invited to Portugal, on behalf of “Republic of Experience” on a FAM trip, and organised by the Lisbon Tourism Board. I gained many contacts on Work Experience whom I still engage with and my plan is continue my studies in GMIT studying Event Management with Public Relations to Level 8.
